Fall off the bone Italian style baked ribs
Cook:
Serves: 2-4
Ingredients
  • 1 full rack of baby back ribs
  • Dry rub ingredients (2 tablespoons each of: kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, cumin, paprika, dried oregano, crushed fennel seed, and cayenne pepper)
  • 1-2 cups of your favorite bottled BBQ sauce
Process
  1. Preheat your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash your full rack of ribs (we recommend baby back) under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the thin, paper like, membrane on the underside of the ribs.
  2. Season your ribs with the dry rub ingredients and place ribs, meat side down, in a large baking dish. Cover the baking dishe with aluminum foil and place in the oven.
  3. For baby back ribs, remove them from the oven after 3.5 hours. If you are using larger style ribs, then remove after 4 hours.
  4. Brush the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce and grill them for about 5 minutes on each side or return them to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes.
