Italian Tartar Sauce

Ingredients
  • Handful of rough chopped capers
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped gherkins
  • 1 tablespoon of anchovy paste or one anchovy cured in olive oil finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely minced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Finely chopped fresh parsley
Process
  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl and let mixture sit over night.
